Magic League: Ixalan Mid-Season

Mid-Season League will take place a week after the conclusion of the Launch League and run for four weeks.

The format is identical to the Launch league you're already familiar with: start players with three boosters and sell them another pack each week, plus another after three losses. They can track their own records and battle any time you're open.

Schedule now in Wizards Event Reporter and get 30 additional Unclaimed Territory promos, to be given to players after completing 10 matches.

Magic: Ixalan Dino-Sized Weekend

Gather your players for a weekend of Ixalan Sealed and Booster Draft play.

Schedule up to two Booster Draft or Sealed events per day to receive an event kit that includes assorted promo cards as well as exclusive Ixalan posters with never-before-seen art. (You can run as many drafts or Sealed events as you like but you only need to schedule up to two per day in WER.)

If you want a unique draft format to set Dino-Sized Weekend apart, you can run "Dino-Sized Drafts" with four packs instead of three.

Draft Weekend: Unstable

Celebrate the release of the highly-anticipated silver-bordered set, Unstable with a Draft Weekend at your store and reward participants with a foil promo card.

Run a combination of scheduled drafts and drafts on-demand: as soon as you've got eight players, sit down and get started (note: eight players is optimal, but you may run casual drafts with fewer than that).

Ixalan Prerelease Party Test

We're doing a trial run of an alternative structure for IxalanPrerelease, and we want input from WPN members in your region.

Participating stores will get a chance to influence the future of Prerelease, plus receive an increased allocation to run the events.

This trial run is only available to WPN members in selected regions.

Here's how it works:

To participate in the trial run, follow the steps below:

Standard Showdown: Ixalan

For you as a retailer, Standard Showdown sustains the Magic ecosystem and keeps attendance up until the event cycle recurs.

For the player, it's a weekly opportunity to hone, evaluate, and experiment with their deck and adapt it to the metagame, both within your store community and Magic as a whole.

Reward that innovation. Standard Showdown is where the event path bends toward competitive: winning ought to matter, so focus rewards on the top performers.

Draft Weekend: Ixalan

As the buzz around the previous set's draft environment reaches its floor, Draft Weekend renews the excitement as players get to dive into fresh content.

Most stores meet that demand by running a combination of scheduled drafts and drafts on-demand: as soon as you've got eight players, sit down and get started (note: eight players is optimal, but you may run casual drafts with fewer than that).

Friday Night Magic: Ixalan

Friday Night Magic is the heartbeat of the game, bringing recursive traffic into your store week after week.

The idea of FNM is simple. On any given Friday, players know they can stop into your store and find friends, fun, and battles. Of all WPN programs, FNM gives you the most freedom to meet your community's preferences: run as many events as you need, in whichever formats your players prefer.
