The best way to increase your allocation for future sets is to use 100% of the product allocated to you in sanctioned Prerelease events.

Those packs belong to your players, so they're free to use them as they choose. However, Booster Drafts can only be sanctioned after the official launch date.

Before the official launch date, Prerelease packs are solely for use in sanctioned Prerelease events.

After the official launch date, Prerelease packs may be used or sold at your discretion.

Some stores are offered additional product, in case they feel their allocation won't cover demand. For each 20 Prerelease packs of growth product ordered, stores must order one additional booster box to use as prizes (the additional booster boxes are purchased at the store's expense).

This depends on the number of players in the event. Consult Appendix E from this document or let Wizards Event Reporter calculate this for you automatically.

Judges aren't required for Game Day. But, like any event, having a judge on hand can drastically improve the quality.

Delinquency rate measures whether your store is reporting your events on time.

  1. Events become delinquent if they are not reported within a certain time after they are held:
    • 7 days for most events.
    • 48 hours for some premier play events like Grand Prix Trials.
  2. Delinquency rate represents the number of delinquent events divided by the number of past events (calculated over a rolling 12 month period). Cancelled events are not included.
    • A low delinquency rate is required for Core and Advanced level in the WPN.
    • A high delinquency rate can also affect your ability to schedule particular WPN programs.

Report your events right away to keep your delinquency rate low!

For help reporting an event, please contact your local Wizards of the Coast office.
