Build Your D&D Customer Base

Dungeons & Dragons has officially declared February as “DM Appreciation Month.”

This is a perfect opportunity to show your Dungeon Masters—and your community—how much DMs mean to your store.  Here's how:

  1. Engage Your Community on Social Media

Publicize the month on your social media channels with the #DnDDMA tag. Ask your players to share what makes their DMs great and what they've done to appreciate their DMs this month. Throw out some suggestions (need  ideas? look here! )

The question is a great conversation starter that will engage your community and could get them talking not only about their DMs but what makes your D&D store events great. 

  1. Show Off Your DMs

Profile your local DMs on your website, on social media, and on posters/flyers in your store. Include stories of what makes these DMs great.

  1. Offer Free Gift Wrap on D&D Products

Consider offering free gift wrap for D&D products that appeal to DMs, like the Dungeon Master’s Guide, Monster Manual or the Dungeon Master Screen .   

  1. Host a Dungeon Master Appreciation Party!

Celebrate your DMs with a special party at your next D&D Encounters session. Have players sign a card to present to your DMs at the party.

Capture the event with pictures and video to share online and increase your public image as the place to go for Dungeons & Dragons.
