The mindless legions of the undead add a new strategic dimension to the game that raises the stakes and ratchets up the tension. Players are forced to combat threats both at home and abroad while utilizing zombie-specific research & development rules to acquire new technologies like Chainsaw Tanks and Zombie Mind Control. Over the course of the game, players will find out who is the more frightening enemy: their living opponents, or the never-ending ranks of the dead.
Full games of Axis & Allies & Zombies are designed to be playable in under three hours. The game includes both an intro scenario for beginners and quick-start rules for experienced players, so anyone can jump right into the action!
Included with the game are 12 Custom Combat Dice, 6 Zombie Dice, 215 Plastic Miniatures-including 30 all-new Zombie figures, 70 national control markers, 50 plastic unit stacking counters, a 60-card Zombie Deck, a battleboard, and blood-splattered Paper Money.
In addition to the standalone game, you can add zombies into your Axis and Allies 1942 (Second Edition) game with the included 86-card expansion deck. You get to choose how you play with the new zombie mechanic.
