What Players are Saying About Signature Spellbook: Jace

May 29, 2018 | 1 min to read

Signature Spellbook: Jace releases on June 15 and players are eager to get a copy of their own.

Take a look at how these popular cards have been taken to the next level and how the community is reacting:

Jace Beleren

A lot of the community buzz centers around the beautiful new card frame, and it's best featured on the beloved original Jace Beleren planeswalker card.

The aesthetic is based on Jace's tattoos and the symbols on his cloak. It even features Alhammarret's (Jace's tutor) collar motif around the foil stamp and in the expansion symbol.

Very cool. I love how the frames give them a unique look. It kinda makes them feel personalized, which makes sense if this sort of represents Jace's personal spellbook.
I didn't want this until I saw that frame. I want that frame.

The single most played card in Legacy gets new art, a new frame, and new flavor text.

I have a plan. Actually, I have three. Actually, I stepped into this Scalding Tarn and I forgot about those other two plans.

Mystical Tutor

This one-mana instant is a powerhouse staple in Commander thanks to its flexibility. It's invaluable for any blue mage.

I want this. Especially the Brainstorm and Mystical Tutor.

Gifts Ungiven

Gifts Ungiven powers one of the most played archetypes in Modern—Gifts Storm. And for the first time in its history, Gifts has been given new art.

I like the frame experimentation, and I like that all have the possibility of foil or non-foil. Also, after three reprints, finally a new Gifts Ungiven art.

Negate sees play any time it's in Standard (like right now) and it's always a dangerous weapon in Commander. Fans have also noticed the special aesthetic of this unique version of the card.

This is notable as it's the first time we're getting CENTERED TEXT on Negate. Also, no flavor text. Spicy as heck.
