Dominaria’s Prerelease Early Sale Promotion was a huge success: stores all over the world reported full sell-through on their advance boxes, while more than 65% of stores say the promotion demonstrably boosted their preorders.

So we’re bringing it back.

For Core Set 2019, Guilds of Ravnica, and beyond, WPN members participating Prerelease will again have the opportunity to sell advance booster boxes during Prerelease weekend in quantities equal to the number of promos they receive. Plus, each of those preorders is eligible for a Standard-and-Commander-legal promo card not found in booster packs.

You'll see the promo when we get closer to release. In the meantime, read some policy reminders below and start taking preorders right away!

How do I get advance booster boxes?

Contact your Prerelease distributor. If you’d prefer a different source, change it in WER before May 21. (Cancel your Prereleases in WER and reschedule them.)*

Does this change Core Set 2019’s release date?

Core Set 2019 releases on July 13, 2018. This promotion allows players to get a box a week early if they preorder at a WPN location and pick it up on Prerelease weekend. Monday through Thursday between Prerelease and release remain black-out dates for delivering any M19 product.*

Can players buy more than one box?

We've changed our Buy-a-Box policy to accord better with the Prerelease Buy-a-Box promotion: going forward, players may recieve a promo for each box they purchase.

So yes, players may purchase more than one advance booster box, and they receive a M19 Buy-a-Box promo for each one. Each and every advance box you sell is eligible for a promo, while supplies last.
