EventLink Keeps All Your Events in One Place

Note: In-Store Play is temporarily suspended in the United States and Latin America. But even in parts of the world where in-store play is available, that is not meant to encourage WPN members to run events. Events reported during this period will never impact your play metrics or your product and promotion allocations.

We recommend all WPN members review and observe best practices for event management as provided by local health authorities, as well as organizations such as the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control.

Scheduling is now open for all Zendikar Rising events!

Here's everything you need to know about the Zendikar Rising season, starting with important dates.

(Please note that these dates represent the best information currently available, but the situation is fluid. If we receive updates that change the status below, we will notify WPN members via email, social media, and our distribution channels.)

Prerelease: At-Home Only in US & LATAM. Available September 18–24 Globally.

With in-store play temporarily suspended in the US and Latin America, those regions will find At-Home Prerelease available in EventLink. To help accommodate players' schedules, they're available all week, from 3PM Friday, September 18–24.

Those same dates apply to regions where in-store play is available, and organizers can limit the number of people in their store at any given time by scheduling as many events as they need.

Note also that these dates apply for the Prerelease Early Sale Promotion as well—you can sell advance boxes of Zendikar Rising between September 18 and September 24. (For Zendikar Rising, only purchases of full boxes are eligible. Also, Prerelease Early Sales for the set can be shipped with an expected delivery date of September 18.)

Launch Party Returns

Note: Launch Party is available only outside the US and Latin America.

For Zendikar Rising, we're once again celebrating the new set with Sealed instead of Booster Draft. It's a great opportunity for players who look forward to the excitement of checking out new set content without sharing cards with other players.

In fact, you can run Launch Party remotely by shipping players their Sealed Deck (or curbside pickup, or local delivery, or whatever works best for you) and hosting a webcam event. Discord and EventLink are super useful tools for remote events.

For Launch Party, you can host whichever Sealed events work best for your community—we suggest using leftover Prerelease Packs, kicking off your Sealed League, or hosting 4-pack, 30-card-deck Sealed events during opening weekend. (4-pack Sealed is available only in EventLink.)

Commander Nights Gets an Adventurous Refresh

Note: Commander Nights is available only outside the US and Latin America.

Commander Nights is a weekly Commander league with rotating global rules and achievement-based prizes. On certain weeks, there are special global rules for league play, curated by Magic’s design studio. Those rules are in place for all Commander Nights games that week across the world.

The achievement list and optional global rules for Commander Nights are getting a refresh to match the newfound risks, perilous adventures, and priceless rewards players will find while exploring Zendikar.

The updated achievement list will spotlight popular mechanics in Zendikar Rising and challenge players to explore the set. You'll find the achievement list in Digital Marketing Assets Wave 2, available on 9/11. Click here to see assets for Zendikar Rising.
