Wizards of the Coast is proud to announce that we're teaming up with TCGplayer, the largest marketplace for trading card games, to help empower local game stores in the Wizards Play Network (WPN) to grow their customer base, strengthen consumer trust on TCGplayer, and drive higher conversion rates—paving the way for long-term retailer success.

Coming Spring 2025, select Wizards Play Network retailers that have storefronts on TCGplayer will have the option to participate in a pilot to display a "WPN" badge. By displaying this badge, retailers gain greater marketplace visibility and are recognized as trusted retail partners of Wizards of the Coast, instilling buyer confidence by signaling to customers they are purchasing from a Wizards-verified local game store.

TCGplayer shoppers will also be able to filter their search results to include Magic: The Gathering products only sold by verified WPN retailers. This program is intended to foster an omnichannel experience that boosts sales, expands the retailer’s customer base, enhances purchase conversion, and improves overall retailer profitability.
