D&D One-Shot Days run from November 4 – December 31 and provide an opportunity to bring Dungeon Masters and eager players together for exciting, one-night quests using stories found in Candlekeep Mysteries, Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel, and Keys from the Golden Vault.
Each of the adventures from these three book releases is fully compatible with the all-new 2024 Core Rulebook release, allowing players and DMs to take their new characters for a spin on adventures suited to be run start-to-finish in one go.
D&D One-Shot Days are ideal for both new and experienced players. The low-level adventures are easy for new Dungeon Masters to run and give new players a taste of what the world's greatest tabletop roleplaying game is all about. For dungeon delving experts at the table, these adventures are their window into the 2024 rules within familiar and beloved stories.
You may run as many D&D One-Shot Days as you like during the event period; we encourage you to report each event using Wizards EventLink, and having players register with their Wizards Accounts whenever possible. For Dungeons & Dragons events, reporting play through Wizards EventLink provides the Wizards Play Network team with guidance as we continue to work on developing play programs in the future.
To help support the event, we'll be providing WPN stores with 10 codes redeemable on D&D Beyond for a Dracolich Dice Set! WPN Premium locations who achieve a designation on or before October 16 will receive 20 codes. Recipients of the code do not need a D&D Beyond subscription to redeem the reward, but they will need a D&D Beyond account.
Provide these codes to participants of the D&D One-Shot Days events, or use them as a gift-with-purchase incentive for customers who purchase any of the following books in-store:
For the event series, your store will be provided with the following three quests:
Each adventure will be provided to you as a PDF for you to print and hand off to Dungeon Masters ahead of the event. Player groups can bring their own first-level characters or, if you have them available, use a set of premade characters for the adventure.
For players who need a first-level character sheet, feel free to direct them to this resource or ensure you have a few blank copies printed out ahead of the event.
