Tips:

1. Save your three standees. You'll use them again for Hour of Devastation. You'll be sent new inserts with updated art in your event kit.
2. Save the four-sided dice for post-Prerelease events. Players who attend Prerelease have automatically completed the “Attend a Sealed event” trial, and received a Spindown life counter in their Prerelease pack as a reward. The 4-sided dice should be used to encourage players to complete additional trials.
3. Download extra Trials Activity Cards. You will likely need additional Trials Activity Cards for the players who did not attend Prerelease but want to earn four-sided dice at other events.
4. You can download and print extras from the Marketing Materials page under “Event Accessories.”
5. You can schedule up to eight Standard Showdown events. The number of Standard Showdown boosters you receive is based on both your store level and the number of events you schedule:
   • Core: 3 boosters /event
   • Advanced: 6 boosters / event
   • Advanced Plus: 9 boosters / event
6. Promote the Standard Showdown boosters. Each booster will have four cards pulled from any Standard-legal set. Two cards will be a rare or mythic rare, one will be a full-art land from Amonkhet, and the final slot will be a premium card of any rarity that also has a chance of being a full-art land.

Hello everyone, my name’s Yichao, and I’m here to share all the new experiences coming up with Amonkhet and how they can help build repeat business at your store.

Amonkhet is a harsh desert plane controlled by Nicol Bolas. Citizens of the plane fervently train for and compete in the five “Trials of the Gods” to ultimately earn a place in the promised Afterlife.

Players will compete in their own trials to rise among the worthy—and it all begins at Prerelease.

In their sarcophagus-themed Prerelease pack, players will get six boosters, a promo card, and a Trials Activity Card that lists five challenges.

These challenges sync up with your organized play programs including several new programs launching with Amonkhet and are meant to help grow repeat play at your store.

Players will receive this gorgeous spindown life counter for attending Prerelease—completing the Sealed event challenge.

For each subsequent trial completed, players can earn one of these cool four-sided counters while supplies last to help keep track of minus-one, minus-one counters prevalent in the set.

Encourage players to bring a new player with them to Prerelease to complete the Bring-a-friend challenge.

Then use the trial cards as an incentive to bring those players back to your store the following week for the new Draft Weekend.

Draft Weekend offers a sweet promo card and is a great way for players to check off the draft event challenge and explore the new cards they might want to use in their Standard decks.

Following Draft Weekend, convert new players into regulars with ongoing play at Friday Night Magic as well as your own in-store league.
