As we announced last week, the release date of Phyrexia: All Will Be One was changed based on customer and retailer feedback to allow for more space between releases. If your store is in Japan, the release date for Phyrexia: All Will Be One remains unchanged. Get all the dates you need to know below.

Store Championship Replaces Game Day

Store Championship events are officially replacing Game Day beginning with Phyrexia: All Will Be One. Coinciding with this change, only specific formats will be available for scheduling, typically aligning with the formats featured at the previous high-level competitive Magic: The Gathering tournaments, such as the Magic Pro Tour and World Championship.

The formats that can be used for scheduling a Phyrexia: All Will Be One Store Championship are as follows:

• Pioneer


• Sealed Deck


• Booster Draft

In addition, Store Championship events run in a Limited format must only use the most recent Standard set release. For the Store Championship scheduled February 25 – March 5, that means you may only use Phyrexia: All Will Be One for your Limited format events.

Prerelease Early Sales Reminder

For The Brothers' War, we made your Prerelease bigger than ever, and that test will continue for Phyrexia: All Will Be One. That means that the full product suite is available to sell during Prerelease in any quantity—only at WPN stores.

Your players will get their first taste of Phyrexian perfection at their local game store, so we've given you the opportunity to expand your event offering during

Prerelease week to suit the way your community most wants to play. You can run any of the following event types during Prerelease week:

• Traditional Prerelease (using Prerelease Packs)


• Jumpstart Prerelease (using Phyrexia: All Will Be One Jumpstart Booster packs)


• Booster Draft

Don't wait to get started on scheduling: using Wizards EventLink to get your events on the books early gives you extra time to boost your advertising efforts and score additional preregistrations. As you schedule your event, use the Prerelease event template.

Prerelease Prizing Policy Update

Starting with Phyrexia: All Will Be One, we are updating our policy regarding Prerelease prizing. During Prerelease, you are allowed to use your free prize support packs for Jumpstart Prerelease events, Sealed Prerelease events, and Booster Draft events. However, your free prize support allocation will only be based on past Sealed play. You will be allocated 2 Set Boosters of prize support for every baseline Prerelease Pack in your allocation.
