When Will Marketing Kits Arrive?

Marketing kits will begin arriving at WPN stores as early as Friday, June 12, in the US and Canada, with most regions delivered in the days leading up to the start of Prerelease on June 19.

Marketing and Play Materials Details

New Welcome Decks

Marvel-themed Welcome Decks are included in your Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes marketing kit to support Magic Academy events and new-player demos. Each contains two 30-card half-decks that can be combined into a ready-to-play 60-card deck. They each feature an iconic Marvel character and include a new-to-Magic mythic rare found only in Welcome Decks and Collector Boosters.

Commander Party Play Aids and Hero Cards

Held twice a season, Commander Party brings players into the set's theme and story through an event with special rules and supporting play materials that make the experience unique for each set. Visit the Dates & Details article for special rules and event specifics.

Magic Presents: God of Mischief Play Aids

This Commander event sets three players against a fourth who takes on the adversarial role of Loki. The play aid explains how to play the event and provides a list of special "tricks" the Loki player can use to defeat opponents.

Set Poster

WPN stores in all regions except North America will receive the Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes set poster in their marketing kit as usual. Stores in the North America region received their Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes set poster in a separate delivery in early February.

Merchandising Header and Shelf Talker

Post the merchandising header above your products to guide customers to their location or set it in a sign holder on counters or tabletops. Use the shelf talker to draw attention to specific product shelves. Together, these make it easy for shoppers to find what they're looking for or discover something new.

New-Player Signage

Post this signage so new players can scan QR codes to easily create their Wizards Account and download the Magic Companion app. Signage also displays the new Marvel-themed Welcome Decks new players can get through Magic Academy and other demos.

Tri-Fold Table Signage

These tri-fold table signs spotlight Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes products, highlight key draft archetypes like Heroes Matter and Villains Matter, and guide players through draft play. Display them in high-visibility areas--such as your point-of-sale and play tables--to support players and promote the set.

Countertop Display (WPN Premium Stores Only)

Use this countertop display to showcase Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes products in a high-visibility area. It can hold Welcome Decks and Bundles but can also be stocked with other items that fit, such as Play Boosters, as your store needs.

Place the display on the counter near your point of sale (using lower-cost items), or on back shelves to anchor a larger product presentation, while keeping it stocked to attract customers to featured products.

Demo Beginner Box Coming to EMEA Stores

We're excited to share that stores in the EMEA region will receive one Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes Beginner Box to use in Magic Academy demos and to keep as part of your in-store game library!

Stores in North America, Latin America, and Japan will also receive a Beginner Box.

The Beginner Box will arrive with your Prerelease product shipment from your distributor.
