Modern Horizons 3 brings a splash of new forever-favorite cards into one of Magic's most celebrated formats. Whether your players haven't picked up a set in a while or are card-slinging veterans, there is something for everyone to love.

To make an even bigger splash with the set, select stores in Australia and New Zealand can run events with incredible promotions during the season: a Modern Horizons 3 Constructed Tournament, plus a scaled-up suite of rewards for the APAC League Season 2 qualifier event.

Modern Horizons 3 Brewer's Showcase Constructed Tournaments at Select Australia and New Zealand WPN Locations

To celebrate the release of Modern Horizons 3, selected WPN stores across Australia and New Zealand will host Brewer's Showcase tournaments between June 21 – 23!

In these tournaments, players will be challenged to showcase their deckbuilding ability by integrating new and new-to-Modern cards into their existing Modern decks—or by building a new deck entirely made of new cards entering the format with Modern Horizons 3 to really put their skills to the test.

How does it work?

Players will use these new or improved decks to enter a showcase tournament at selected WPN locations, with top prizes such as Modern Horizons 3 Collector Boosters plus limited, unique playmats ready for winners to walk away with. Additional prizing may be available and subject to store policy.

To compete, players’ decks must be Modern-legal and must consist of a minimum of 20% of cards whose first Modern-legal printing was in Modern Horizons 3*. For example, a Modern Horizons 3 copy of Windswept Heath, a Special Guest copy of Solitude, or a basic land from the set would not contribute to this percentage, as these cards were legal in the Modern format before the release of Modern Horizons 3.

*Decks must include a minimum of 20% (or 15 cards) across main and sideboard (whichever is greater) whose first Modern-legal printing was in Modern Horizons 3.

What are the prizes for the tournament?

The selected WPN stores will be sent all the following free-of-charge as prizing for this special Modern Horizons 3 Tournament Event:

• 1 Modern Horizons 3 Collector Booster Display (to be given to the tournament winner)
• 8 limited and unique playmats per store (one design across all stores, to be given to Top-8 scoring players)
• 16 limited and unique card sleeves per store (one design across all stores, to be given to Top-16 scoring players)

The promotional prize support may only be used to support this Modern Horizons 3 Tournament Event run from June 21 – 23, while supplies last. Schedule early and advertise this epic Modern event to your players to get them thinking creatively about how they'll sharpen their strategy to take home the top prize.

Modern Horizons 3 APAC League Rewards are Scaling Up

Participating WPN stores in Australia and New Zealand that run APAC League Season 2 Qualifier Modern Horizons 3 Limited events from June 14 through July 19 will be provided bonus APAC League Year of the Rabbit themed rewards as additional prizing for these events.

How do the rewards work?

These rewards are only to be used as prizing for Modern Horizons 3 Limited events during the APAC League Season 2 window of June 14 through July 19. They are not available as prizing in non-Modern Horizons 3 Limited events or constructed format events.

Please use these extra prizes to boost your participation or top winner prize pools for APAC League events, while supplies last. If your store is in the Asia-Pacific region outside of Australia and New Zealand, please reach out to your local WPN representative for how your store may acquire and use these rewards.

What are the additional prizes?

Each store will receive a random assortment of previous APAC League Year of the Rabbit themed rewards, based on your store's play metrics:

• Playmat
• Deck Box
• Sleeves

Please note, APAC League Year of the Dragon Qualifier Events will continue to offer Season 2 Rewards (Steel Hellkite promo card).
