When Will Marketing Kits Arrive?

Marketing kits will begin arriving at WPN stores as early as Friday, July 31, in the US and Canada, with most regions delivered in the days leading up to the start of Prerelease on August 7.

New Welcome Decks

Your Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit marketing kit will include new Welcome Decks themed for the set. There are five 40-card, single-color decks. Use these to support your Magic Academy: Learn to Play events and other demos, and to excite fans of The Hobbit™.

Commander Party Play Aids and Hoard Decks

Held twice a season, Commander Party brings players into the set's theme and story through an event with special rules and supporting play materials that make the experience unique. Visit the Commander Party event page for event specifics.

Magic Presents: Heart of the Mountain Emblem

Magic Presents: Heart of the Mountain is a casual Commander event during which players battle for control of the legendary Arkenstone. As the Arkenstone changes hands throughout the game, players gain powerful advantages but also become the table's biggest target. The player who holds the Arkenstone long enough wins.

Your marketing kit includes Arkenstone emblems and participation promo cards to support the event.

Merchandising Header

The merchandising header can highlight new releases and draw attention to related products throughout the sales period. Post it above your products to help customers find them, or set it in a sign holder on counters or tabletops.

Set Poster

WPN stores in all regions except North America will receive the Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit set poster in their marketing kit as usual. Stores in the North America region will receive their set poster in a separate delivery (it will also include their Reality Fracture and Magic: The Gathering® | Star Trek™ set posters).
