About Commander Nights

Commander Nights is a weekly Commander league with rotating special rules and achievement-based prizes. The achievements and rules can be found on the Marketing Materials page the week of Prerelease.

On certain weeks, there will be special global rules for league play—usually involving a mechanic from the set—that are in place for all Commander Nights games that week across the world. The rotating rules add a unique twist to Commander games during the week and tie into the achievements that players earn over the season.

How you reward players that complete achievements is up to you, but a common method would be to provide one Promo Pack for completing three achievements, and another for completing eight.

As always, all Magic: The Gathering events reported through Wizards EventLink will count towards play metrics: Tickets, Engaged Players, and Activated Players.
