What Is Commander Party?

Commander Party is a story-inspired Commander event that immerses players in the setting of the latest set release. The vibe is fun and casual, and the events are outstanding opportunities to welcome in broad groups from your community, from new players to lore enthusiasts to Commander fans.

The event features special rules designed specifically for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man and includes play aids and party cards to support play. Commander Party physical materials will be sent to your store in English; you can find downloadable local-language versions of these on the marketing materials page.

Commander Promo Cards

WPN stores will receive an increased allocation of Commander promo cards to support the three Commander programs: Commander Party, Commander Box League, and Two-Headed Giant Commander Night. These promos are non-foil by default but will be traditional foil at WPN Premium locations.

Schedule and Promote Your Events

You can schedule your Commander Party events in Wizards EventLink during two periods: October 3–9 and October 24–30.

Get your players hyped about your Commander Party events by using the downloadable marketing assets for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man.

For stores in the US, Canada, Guam, and Puerto Rico, you can step up your promotional game even further by ordering customizable marketing materials like tension fabric displays, sidewalk signs, and flyers from the WPN Marketing Portal—plus, WPN Premium stores in these regions have a $300 seasonal promotional marketing credit for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man they can use by November 1.
