To receive a promotional Season of Champions physical play kit, you must be among the first 1,000 eligible stores to schedule a D&D Season of Champions Celebration event by October 5.

• Physical play kit (for stores that qualify to receive the limited-availability physical play kits)
  • 5 printed copies of the D&D Encounters seasonal adventure material (for Celebration and Weekly Play)
  • 20 premade character sheets divided into 5 packs, each containing the season's 4 premade characters
  • 5 printed double-sided tactical maps for the Celebration event
  • 25 season-exclusive d20s as player rewards—one per participating player, while supplies last
  • 10 pins as rewards for DMs and helpers—5 Alliance and 5 Horde, while supplies last

What Is D&D Encounters Weekly Play?

The Season of Champions story continues from November 11, 2026, through January 3, 2027, with D&D Encounters Weekly Play. Players return to your store for shorter sessions that build on the adventure that began during the D&D Season of Champions Celebration event. Each week's adventure brings new challenges, character progression, and opportunities for players to shape the story, while remaining easy for new players to join at any point.

This event continues the season of play built around Dungeons & Dragons: World of Warcraft, supported by a lineup of accessories that will draw players deeper into the adventure.

We recommend scheduling your D&D Encounters Weekly Play events on a consistent day (or days) between Wednesday and Sunday to develop a regular cadence for players.

How to Get a Play Kit

All stores will receive access to the digital play kit, which includes the adventure and play materials—everything you need to run the Celebration and Weekly Play events. The digital play kit will be available to download from this page and the WPN Marketing Materials page beginning October 14 (you must be signed in with your store-connected Wizards Account for access).
