Starting in January 2024, the Wizards Play Network is pausing the collection of WPN Premium POS data.
The Wizards Play Network will pause the manual submission of Point of Sale (POS) data for WPN Premium stores beginning January 1, 2024. That means that current and new WPN Premium stores will not be required to submit POS data starting January 2024.
In the future, we do expect to resume the collection of POS data—but our process may look different than it does today. In the interim, this article will cover the details of this change for WPN Premium stores.
The Wizards Play Network is continually working to address feedback from our retailers. As such, we are striving toward a new solution that will alleviate common pain points with the current POS data collection process. At the moment, we do not have a timeline for the return of POS data submission.
We sincerely appreciate the efforts of all WPN Premium stores in providing your point of sale data up to this point—your submissions have helped us examine the evolving market and make nimble decisions, and we appreciate your support through now.
We previously announced WPN Premium Point of Sale promos for on-time and accurate submission of Point of Sale data. For the foreseeable future, these promos will still be provided to all WPN Premium stores. The timing for the promo shipments has not yet been decided.
To best serve our WPN Premium retailers and the Wizards Play Network community beyond, we are committed to improving this data collection process. When more information becomes available, we will share it with you.
