Store Championship kick off in WPN stores this December with exciting reward promos.
Competitive communities rejoice! Wizards-supported competitive play returns to WPN stores with the reintroduction of Store Championship—and it’s even better than you remember.
Available in all regions where in-store play is allowed, these one-day-only events give your players an opportunity to prove their mettle and earn commemorative promos. Watch Magic: The Gathering caster Maria Bartholdi share the scoop, plus additional details below!
Here’s a quick rundown of what you need to know.
Run Your Community’s Preferred Format
You are welcome to run your Store Championship as one of the following formats:
- Booster Draft
- Sealed
- Standard
- Modern
- Pioneer
Hot tip: Consider scheduling preparatory events of your chosen format leading up to your community’s Store Championship to allow players to hone their decks and prowess ahead of the big day.
Provide Epic Rewards
The promos for these awesome in-store events will be sent to all WPN stores. Check out these incredible prizes:
- 40 Arbor Elf promos for participation (120 for WPN Premium)
- 8 Collected Company promos for top eight
- 1 Wurmcoil Engine promo for first place
To add even more excitement, the top eight and first place promos provided to WPN Premium stores will be inscribed with the name of the store on the card. As always, you are welcome to augment these events with additional prizing at your discretion.
