Our partnership brings together the world of tabletop gaming and advanced payment solutions in retailer outlets. We aim to utilize this partnership with Square to gain insights that will ultimately allow us to enhance the experience for WPN retailers and players within the WPN by creating better programs, products, and benefits.

Please ensure you are logged into your account; by opting in to this pilot, you are authorizing Square to share POS data with Wizards of the Coast. The data sharing process will be automatic once you choose to opt-in, with no other action required of you.

Terms & Conditions

By accepting the terms below, you (“Retailer”) agree to the following:

1. Authorization to Share Data

You authorize Block, Inc. to share your point-of-sale data with Wizards of the Coast LLC (“Wizards”). This includes both historical point of sale data and ongoing transaction data generated through your relationship with Block, Inc.

2. Scope of Data

The point-of-sale data includes transaction records, sales data, product information, and related business data collected by Block, Inc. through their payment processing services pursuant to your existing merchant agreement with them. This authorization does not extend to customer personal information beyond what is permitted by applicable privacy laws and regulations.

3. Use of Data

Wizards will handle all shared data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found here. By accepting these terms, you acknowledge that Wizards’ Privacy Policy will govern the use, storage, and protection of the shared data.

4. Existing Agreements

This authorization supplements and does not replace or modify any existing agreements between you and Block, Inc. or between you and Wizards. All terms, conditions, and obligations under your existing agreements with either party remain in full force and effect.

5. Opting Out

If, at any time during the program, you decide you’d like to opt-out from Wizards receiving your data, you can opt-out by submitting a POS Opt-Out request through AskWPN, selecting “Submit a request,” then selecting “POS Opt Out.”

6. Duration and Termination

This authorization remains in effect until either (a) you opt out using the process described above, or (b) your relationship with Block, Inc. terminates. Any data shared prior to termination may be retained by Wizards in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

7. Purpose of Data Sharing

This data sharing enables Wizards to support the Wizards Play Network program and related program benefits. Wizards will only use the shared data for business purposes related to these services.

8. Representations

By accepting these terms, you represent that:

• You are authorized to grant this permission on behalf of your business
• You have all necessary rights to authorize this data sharing
• This authorization does not violate any of your existing agreements or obligations

9. Modifications

Wizards may modify these terms at any time in its sole discretion. Your continued participation following any modification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Security

Wizards maintains appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the shared data. For details about our security practices, please see our Privacy Policy here.
