Two-Headed Giant Commander Night allows players to team up for two-versus-two games of fun and casual Commander. This is a terrific event to encourage Commander players who may be hesitant to play in a store environment to come in with their friends and try it out.

What Is Two-Headed Giant Commander Night?

Two-Headed Giant Commander Night is a new Commander event in which players can earn promo cards by pairing up to battle other two-player teams. Each player has their own 100-card Commander deck, but they share a 60-point life pool. Play follows the normal Two-Headed Giant rules.

This event is a great way for new players to start exploring in-store play and for experienced players to introduce their friends to Magic. Each participant should receive one of the Commander promos, plus any other event prizes your store would like to include.

Promo Cards

Commander Party promo cards will be referred to simply as Commander promos beginning with Edge of Eternities, and their allocation and use is extended to include Two-Headed Giant Commander Night events (as well as Commander Party and Commander Box League events).

WPN stores will receive an increased allocation of Commander promo cards to support the additional Commander programs. These promos are non-foil by default but will be traditional foil at WPN Premium locations.

Schedule and Promote Your Events

You can now schedule your Two-Headed Giant Commander Night events in Wizards EventLink. We recommend holding the event monthly with a consistent cadence to encourage players to return for a regular event they enjoy.
