We have made several changes to our normal event policies to ensure WPN members do not feel pressured to schedule in-store events and can remain compliant with local health and safety guidelines.

During Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate season, we will count metrics again for the following regions:

• The U.S.


• China


• Canada


• Europe


• Asia-Pacific


• Latin America (as of April 29)

Until further notice, all events reported through Wizards EventLink, including Webcam and At-Home events, will count towards play metrics: Tickets, Engaged Players, and Activated Players.

In all other regions, events reported will not impact your play metrics or your product and promotion allocations at this time. You will be notified when events impact your play metrics again.

The draft format for Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate is unique, so here's a refresher on how it works:

• Arrange your Draft pods with as close to 8 people per pod as possible.


• Players open and add their foil year-stamped promo to their draft pool before beginning the normal drafting process.


• Players pick two cards at a time during the draft.


• After drafting is complete, arrange players into tables with as close to 4 players as possible.

Prerelease events are available all week, June 3–9, starting at 3PM Friday, June 3.

Traditional Prerelease events (with rounds) and Player List Only events (without rounds) are now both available to be scheduled from the Prerelease event template on Wizards EventLink.

At-Home and Webcam Prerelease

At-Home and Webcam Prerelease are available all week beginning 3PM Friday, June 3.

That date and time also apply to regions where in-store play is available, and organizers can limit the number of people in their store at any given time by scheduling as many events as they need.
