Standard Showdown Returns!

Take the first step into a revitalized Standard format with the return of Standard Showdown! This weekly event allows players to construct their perfect Standard deck and go head-to-head, bringing more in-store play and foot traffic into your store.

These events will come with exclusive promos for top performing players, and retailers who run and report two or more Standard Showdown events during the month of February in their community will also receive a WPN-exclusive reward: an oversized Magic card.

The oversized Magic card is to be used for display in your store and is subject to our marketing materials policy.

Now is an ideal time to start getting your players excited about the return of Standard, from weekly constructed tournaments at Standard Showdown all leading up to the Store Championship event for Murders at Karlov Manor, which will also be Standard only format.

We recommend players start thinking about their decks if they want to compete during Murders at Karlov Manor—and you can support those interested in your community by running additional Standard events leading up to the kick-off of Standard Showdown.
