For the continued safety of the Magic community, in-store play suspension has been extended to June 1.
For the continued safety of the Magic community, the current suspension of in-store play has been extended until at least June 1. We will continue to monitor the situation and make any further adjustments to in-store play, accounting for regional variance, as appropriate.
This includes all Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths events, except for At-Home Prerelease. Existing events scheduled in those regions will be cancelled, and event scheduling has been removed from Wizards Event Reporter.
At-Home Prerelease Reminder: You may use At-Home Prerelease to record the players that you sell Prerelease Packs to, but keep in mind that any future Prerelease allocation that would include Ikoria will instead look at the highest attendance in the last three sets.
We strongly recommend that you continue to take measures to keep your players connected and direct them toward remote play opportunities. Go here for information on how to do so, including setting up a Discord server with one click.
Metrics Snapshot Update: We have taken a "snapshot" of WPN metrics beginning February 15, so there is no incentive to run or report any play, whether online of offline, or to resume in-store events before it is safe to do so.
Future allocations for attendance-based products and promotions will be based off the snapshot. We will continue to use this snapshot data for the next few months and are reviewing other measures to keep WPN metrics stable.
