Hello everyone! It's Nelson Brown again, your WPN Community manager. I'm here to unpack how Strivhaven's factions, product suite, and product pathing work together seamlessly.
A quick refresher—Strixhaven brings us to an all-new Magic plane, home to an elite school for mages. Strixhaven has five "colleges," each themed around a 2-color pair. They are:

The Strixhaven lineup is designed to meet all your customers' needs. Today, I'll be breaking out those customers into three broad categories: new, engaged, and enfranchised.
For new players, a great first product to point them to is the Theme Booster. It's perfect for deckbuilding or kickstarting a collection.
For engaged players, those with some Magic experience, start with Set Boosters and Draft Boosters. Set Boosters were designed from the ground up to make a thrilling pack-opening experience. Draft Boosters are still the go-to for Sealed and Draft play.
Three of our products—Commander Decks, Theme Boosters, and Prerelease Packs, leverage Strixhaven's factions. By sticking with one college, newer players can build and upgrade a Standard or Commander deck. At the same time, more engaged players can explore the interactions between colleges. Factional identity is at the heart of Strixhaven marketing!
The Bundle hits the sweet spot as a great gift item, with its ten Draft Boosters, oversized Spindown, and promo card.
Collector Boosters are the ultimate in deck bling, including the highly sought after Japanese alternate-art cards.
From extended-art cards and borderless cards to the Mystical Archive and Japanese alternate-art cards, there are so many ways for players to express themselves through their decks and collection. They'll find it all in Collector Boosters.
For new and engaged players, the colleges of Strixhaven are the perfect jumping off point into the world of Magic. As you plan events, design ads, and post on social media, consider which players you expect to reach and what products are right for them.
I hope you're looking forward to Strixhaven as much as I am!
Until next time.
STX has four types of boosters and features five different colleges, each with its own distinctive playstyle, so there’s a lot to offer.
