Starting with Core Set 2020, you’ll receive promo packs to support your in-store play programs. Throughout the season, distribute the packs to players who win events, bring friends, and help out around the shop.

You can leverage your promo packs as you see fit to best support your business.

One-in-four Core Set 2020 promo packs is foil and each promo pack contains four cards. Let’s open one up and see what’s inside.

The first card will be a rare or mythic from M20. You can see these cards have a special stamp, the Planeswalker symbol.

The second card is one of five M20 season promo cards with the new promo card frame. You and your players are still getting FNM style promo cards—now they’re in the packs!

75% of the time, the third card will be a rare or mythic from a curated list of M20 cards. You can find the curated list on the "Promotions" page of Magic.Wizards.com. 25% of M20 promo packs will include an alternate art Japanese Planeswalker from War of the Spark.

These awesome cards feature alternate art by Japanese artists, and previously could only be found in Japanese War of the Spark booster packs.

The final slot contains a foil, alternate art basic land.
