Q: If I am in a region where WPN play is suspended, can I still run unsanctioned in-store events?
A: If you are in a region where WPN play is suspended but determine you are able to host events within the guidelines set by your local health authorities, you can choose to do so, but you will not have access to our event management tools to help organize the event.
Q: Am I allowed to provide promo packs (or other WPN promotional materials) for participation or prizing in unsanctioned events?
A: No. Promo packs and other WPN promotional materials should only be used for sanctioned events.
Q: If I am in a region where in-store WPN play is suspended, am I allowed to use Prerelease materials to host an unsanctioned in-store Prerelease event?
A: No. During Prerelease, Prerelease materials can only be used for official Prerelease events. In regions where in-store play is suspended, these only include At-Home & Webcam Prerelease events. WPN stores in those regions should have no hand in organizing, promoting, or running in-store Prerelease events.
Q: In regions where in-store play is suspended, are there any official events I can offer?
A: Yes, even in regions where in-store play is suspended, WPN members are free to schedule and run sanctioned Webcam events through Wizards EventLink. Webcam event scheduling is available for both everyday and program events (including Prerelease), and these events will count towards your play metrics equivalently to an in-store event.
