At the end of February, Wizards EventLink received an update that added a new feature to the platform: the ability to import a list of registrants into your events. This capability was first introduced as a Premier Play feature, and we are eager to introduce it for use at the individual store level.

Today, we'll dive into how the feature works, plus take a look at upcoming events in April that will give you the opportunity to see the new feature in action.

New EventLink Feature: Invite List Import

This new feature in Wizards EventLink allows you to upload an invite list to populate the registrants of your event! When creating your event, all you need to do is upload a .CSV file with either a player's Wizards Account email or a general display name in the first column.

You may use a spreadsheet with additional values in other columns, but EventLink will only read what's in Column A. EventLink will not be able to accept entries that are duplicated, or emails that are not tied to a Wizards Account—if either of these situations occur, you'll receive an error message that tells you which error you encountered to improve troubleshooting.

You will still be able to add or remove players manually, so if you need to make changes once you import a list, you can still do so.

Upcoming Play Events & Key Dates for April

If you haven't used the new Wizards EventLink feature yet, April has plenty of opportunities for you to give it a shot. In April, we see the end of the Phyrexia: All Will Be One play season, which transitions your players into the final fight with March of the Machine.

Acorns in April (U.S. and Canada Only)

Dates: March 31 – April 2

Promo Support: 2-5 promotional copies of Unsanctioned (decks, dice, full-art lands, tokens, or storage box), in-game Magic: The Gathering Arena Cosmetic for participants that register with Wizards Account in the U.S. and Canada.
