Zendikar RisingPrerelease is almost here! On September 18, players will return to Magic’s plane of perilous adventure, delving into ancient ruins in search of priceless rewards.

It also marks the continuation of special Prerelease accommodations. With each new Prerelease, we learn a little more about what helps make them successful both for WPN members and for their communities during the pandemic.

With those experiences in mind, here are seven things you need to know to help make the most of Zendikar Rising Prerelease!

Zendikar Rising Prerelease runs from September 18 through September 24.

For regions where in-store Prerelease is availabe, we want to help maximize attendance while allowing organizers to limit the number of people in the shop at any given time. To help, Zendikar Rising Prerelease will run for a full week, and there's no cap on the number of Prerelease events you can run.

Host as many as you'd like from September 18 through September 24.

Note that any in-store Prerelease events still start at 3:00 PM local time.

At-Home Prerelease will be available for Zendikar Rising.

You don't need to run in-store play to take advantage of the week-long Prerelease—At-Home Prerelease events will be schedulable for the Zendikar Rising season.

Enter players who purchase a Prerelease Pack for at-home play in these events to have them counted for future Prerelease allocations.

Remember, there's no need to stress about your numbers. We'll refer to the highest attendance from among Theros Beyond Death and the last two sets to determine baseline Prerelease allocation for the foreseeable future.

Prerelease Early Sale Promotion starts when you open on Friday, September 18.

Based on feedback from fans and retailers, you can now sell full displays of Zendikar Rising Draft Boosters and provide Prerelease Packs for At-Home Prerelease events at any point beginning Friday, September 18 through Thursday, September 24.

The Buy-a-Box promo—Orah, Skyclave Hierophant—is mechanically identical to the version found in booster packs, but this extended art version is only available through the Buy-a-Box promotion.

The following purchases all qualify for the Buy-a-Box promo:

• Full displays of Draft Boosters


• Full displays of Set Boosters


• Full displays of Collector Boosters


• 6 Prerelease Packs

Buy-a-Box Promos can be shipped with online orders.

Starting at launch and through Zendikar Rising season, WPN members can ship Buy-a-Box cards along with orders of six Prerelease packs or displays of Draft Boosters, Set Boosters, or Collector Boosters.

Promo Packs can still be used as sales incentives and at-home play rewards.

Similarly, WPN members can continue to use Promo Packs as a sales incentive and as a reward for at-home play through the Zendikar Rising season.

Draft Boosters can only be sold in full displays during Prerelease.

For Zendikar Rising, Draft Boosters must be sold in full display quantities. You can sell full displays of Draft Boosters for the entire week of Prerelease, from September 18 through September 24.

All players that participate in Prerelease will receive one Zendikar Rising Set Booster while supplies last.

Each player purchasing a Prerelease Pack will be given one Zendikar Rising Set Booster (while supplies last)!
