Due to a shipping issue, some stores in North America and EMEA may receive their Tarkir: Dragonstorm promotional materials kits later than initially planned. Kits are expected to begin arriving at North American stores on April 2 and EMEA stores as soon as possible during the Tarkir: Dragonstorm season. If your kit does not arrive in time for Prerelease, please issue IOUs to qualifying customers to pick up earned reward materials on their next store visit after delivery.

Season-Long Scheduling:
Like past factionalized sets such as Ravnica and New Capenna, the Tarkir: Dragonstorm Prerelease will feature a choice of five different Prerelease packs, one for each of the five dragon clans of Tarkir.
How you distribute these among players is up to you. You may allow players to choose based on order of registration (a great way to encourage early sign-ups) or assign them randomly the day of the event with the option of allowing players to trade with others before the event begins. A common practice is to do both across multiple events: allow players to choose for your earliest Prerelease events and then assign them randomly for later events to utilize remaining inventory.
Magic Presents returns this spring with a special Booster Draft event series taking place during the Tarkir: Dragonstorm season. During the event, players begin each game with a special emblem granting them a gameplay bonus based on the card Rites of Flourishing. Players can participate in multiple events, earning 1 of 7 promo cards each time they do. The promos for this event are Magic-themed versions of the cards from the Secret Lair: Honor Among Thieves drop, a limited release from 2023 featuring (until now) mechanically unique cards based on the blockbuster Dungeons & Dragons movie.
With Aetherdrift, we tested a new method of distributing Prerelease Packs to enable WPN members more inventory flexibility. With this new method, retailers were not assigned a limited allocation of Prerelease Packs but rather were empowered to order as many as they needed through any number of distributors. This would allow for more efficient distribution of inventory to stores that were experiencing rapid growth.
We are so far pleased with the results of the test and expect to continue it for future releases. However, due to high demand signals for Tarkir: Dragonstorm, we will be pausing the test for this release and once again allocating limited quantities of Prerelease Packs to WPN stores in select regions. This will ensure that all stores have sufficient access to product to run Prerelease events. As we adjust our production quantities for future sets, we expect to reinstate the non-allocated method.
For Tarkir: Dragonstorm, the following regions will have limited Prerelease Pack allocations based on past reported attendance:
The following regions will not have designated allocations and can order as many as they need through any number of distributors:
