It's nearly time: Outlaws of Thunder Junction Prerelease starts April 12, where your players can join up with legendary outlaw Oko and his gang for the caper of a lifetime. Review these reminders with your staff to help ensure your Prerelease goes according to plan.

Highlight New Get the Gang Together Promos

Starting right at Prerelease, players can receive copies of the promos Oltec Matterweaver and Transmutation Font when they bring along new players to their first event at your store! Each player must register for your event with their own Wizards Account.

Players are eligible to receive the Get the Gang Together promos for any in-store event throughout Outlaws of Thunder Junction season, as long as it is the new player's first event!

In addition to the two promos, be sure to provide each participating player with a copy of Cultivate, all while supplies last.

You can use our downloadable marketing materials to share these promos and encourage your players to bring in new friends and family to join the heist and score some loot!

Decorate for the Occasion

Prerelease is the epic kickoff of a season-long celebration for a Magic release, and players with memorable experiences are more likely to return to your store for more! Whether you choose to decorate your store to model Thunder Junction's frontier fantasy aesthetic, host costume contests to crown the most creative expression at the event, or serve up some thematic treats, your community is sure to have a blast.

Your staff may even want to get in on the fun of dressing up, donning their favorite cowboy hats and boots to storm Thunder Junction!

Keep Momentum Going with a Full Event Schedule

As players settle in with their Prerelease Packs, make sure you kick off your opening announcements with a reminder of future events going on at your store. How you do this is up to you, but you may consider anything from a heads-up about your next event (such as Open House) to providing a QR code to your store's calendar. This way, your community has your store's event calendar right in the palm of their hands.

From Open House to Store Championship, Outlaws of Thunder Junction offers a full slate of events: make sure you have them all scheduled in Wizards EventLink so you can collect preregistrations throughout Prerelease week.

Promote Prerelease Early Sales

The Prerelease Early Sales promotion is continuing for Outlaws of Thunder Junction at WPN stores worldwide (excluding Japan). So, starting April 12, you can sell the full suite of products during Prerelease week!

For customers who pick up a full box of Play Boosters or Collector Boosters in store, be sure to hand them the Buy-a-Box promo while supplies last: Magda, the Hoardmaster.
